Effect of facial expression on decision making

Sometimes we advise others persons on the decisions they should make, and accept risks that would be modulated by cognitive emotional variables. In order to analyze role of expressed emotion in this type interactions, it was conducted an experiment which (facial expression: joy vs. sadness) advice (health financial) were manipulated their impact risk-taking confidence response. The subjects accepted less risk when facial expression sadness (vs. happiness) financial situations. findings are discussed as part reciprocity process social interaction, where information could play important modulating role.
